On behalf of the Wildwood Basketball Camp, we would like to say that our thoughts are with all of you being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Now, more than ever, we can fully appreciate how small the world has become, and the importance of communities coming together to protect each other in times of need.
Though the situation continues to evolve, we have been monitoring reports from health officials and governing bodies to help us better understand the impact of the virus. Ultimately, with so many closures and concerns that remain as we approach summer, we have determined it is safest and best practice to postpone WBC 35 until July 2021.
Our camp has been a summer staple in Saskatoon, and we will miss our campers and coaches more than ever! In the meantime, it is important that we stay connected to others even when we can’t be together in person. Keep loving the sport of basketball – it will be back soon! We hope that you and your families stay healthy, and we appreciate your support and sacrifices in keeping each other protected during these unprecedented times.
Wishing you all the best and we look forward to WBC 35 in 2021!
The WBC Staff
Our main goals
Fun for all participants
The camper to instructor ratio is 6:1 for the Mini Camp and 7:1 for the Bantam/Senior Camp. The instructors are experienced, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic people!
Improvement of individual and team skills
Instructional groups are the focus of our camps. Technical skills are taught and each camper is encouraged and challenged to improve their individual play. Team games are scheduled daily and the skills learned during the instructional groups are implemented in the games. Parents/Guardians are welcome to watch any of the sessions.
We want to give you a shout out
WBC would like to extend a sincere thanks to all of our campers and families for helping us put together an incredible summer experience! Your energy and enthusiasm always rocks the gymnasium!
